Tail Wire Mounting Tabs

These Stainless Steel tail wire attach tabs are typically used to attach the brace wires between the tail surfaces on the Skybolt series, Pitts Specials, Pitts Model 14, and many other aircraft. Please see the chart below for dimensions. The holes are sized for standard size bolts and clevises, but they may be drilled or reamed to a larger diameter if needed for your application. The user can bend these tabs to a different angle if required.

NOTE: The Skybolt (Standard, Delta, and Radial), Pitts S1-C and S1-SS, and Pitts Model 14 all use the same set of tabs. Each aircraft requires a total of 12 tabs.

NOTE: For other similar applications, especially those which are not visible from the outside, you may also want to consider our 4130 Chromoly Drag / Anti-Drag Wire Lugs. These are a bit larger, and are intended for applications such as mounting drag and anti-drag wires within a wing.
