The top flap features a hook and loop closure and has a special window designed to keep the meter’s temperature and humidity sensors continuously exposed to the outside air to ensure accurate logged readings. There is also a durable elastic loop on the side of the case is perfect for carrying a small flashlight or other tool. And you don’t have to fear running out of batteries… there is an elastic battery loop inside that can securely hold two backup AAA batteries. The front pocket is sized to carry a Silva Baseplate Compass (available in a separate listing) for determining wind direction. This quality case is manufactured exclusively for NK by NiteIzeTM and features NiteIze’s patented J-hook belt attachment made of sturdy glass-filled nylon, which will accommodate up to a 2-1/4 in. belt and can also attach reliably over a waistband.
