We are happy to bring to you some brand new products!
One that we are very excited about is our new Pitts Wing Assembly Jigs. You can see a photo here or buy it in our store. As any experienced homebuilder can tell you, a huge part of the time spent building an aircraft goes towards making up the various jigs and other fixtures to hold the components together during assembly. Our wing assembly jigs are designed to remove this chore from your task list, all the while ensuring that the angles and alignment in your wings remain precise. Based on the Pitts S1-SS wing, they fit any Pitts wings with the same dimensions (S1-C, S1-D, S1-S, etc.). One assembly jig will allow you to build your entire set of wings simultaneously… top, bottom left, and bottom right… and hold everything in place up to the point of installing the leading edges. If you can “insert tab A into slot B”, you will have no trouble putting this kit together!
We have also added several new books and CDs to our store as well. These include book titles such as ‘Once Around the Patch (of Life) – The Autobiography of Don Fairbanks’, ‘Tips and Tricks for Aircraft Homebuilders’ by Sonja Englert, and David Robson’s ‘Conventional Gear – Flying A Taildragger’. We have also added a couple of CD-ROM compilations of FAA documents which make great references for pilots and maintenance personnel, including the ‘2010 Aviation Maintenance Library’ and 2010 Pilot’s Library.
As always, ordering from our online store is easy, fast, and secure. What are you waiting for?
