We are happy to report that power and phone service to Steen Aero Lab was restored around noon on Monday 9/13/04… service was down since Hurricane Frances hit on 9/4/04 due to a downed power line that feeds our neihborhood. Fortunately, we had very little damage to the facility (a few minor water leaks, one broken section of a plastic skylight panel in our shop door, and a bunch of leaves and tree bark was plastered to the side of the building by the driving wind and rain.) The Yellowbird Skybolt had been evacuated safely to Georgia (our local T-hangar did get seriously damaged, but fortunately, it was empty!) and all of our employees rode the storm out safely. The shop and office is back up and running, and we have resumed normal operations. Our thoughts and prayers remain with our many neighbors who are still dealing with damage and losses from Hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Ivan. We thank you for your patience and the many messages of support we have received recently.
Sincerely,
The Steen Aero Lab Team
