Description
This is a training film produced by the U.S. Department of Education during the 1950s to demonstrate the repair of a damaged steel tube airframe, using basic hand tools. Includes damage inspection, straightening of a bent truss, and splicing and replacing cracked longerons. This film is still very relevant for anyone maintaining or restoring a tube and fabric type aircraft.
