With all the great airplanes at AirVenture 2004, it isn’t easy to really stand out from the crowd to wow the judges. But that’s just what Peter Clinton of Erie, CO did when he won a Plaque for Outstanding Workmanship (Plans-Built) for his beautiful green and white Skybolt, N864P. Although it’s not one of our designs, we’d also like to congratulate our friend Steve Culp of Shreveport, LA on garnering a Bronze Lindy (not an honorable mention as previously reported!) in the Plans-Built Homebuilt category for his awesome, brand-new Sopwith Pup replica (N329CC) – a plane which was officially only two weeks old when the show began!
Congratulations guys, as well as to all Oshkosh award winners… great job!!
